As you can see, we started our trip to Rohrmoos early in the night. After having been demobilised in a big traffic jam around Frankfurt for about 1.5 hours, the rest of the trip went quite good and we arrived around 14.00 in Rohrmoos.
To my big surprise (and joy) the wheather was very good and I didn't even need to use my snow chains...
We went to Rohrmoos to joing the Rohrmoos Balloon Meeting, which is organised there every year. It was our first time there but we enjoyed it very much and we're definitely coming back next year.
This page shows some pictures of the first flight we made. The first flight took about 3 hours, and was good to get "acquainted" with the mountains and the valley.
