Today we will explore Loch Ness and neighbourhood.
We did not see Nessie, but we did see the loch itself and Urquheart Castle at the shores of Loch Ness. Most of the castle has been lost in time, however there are still quite some remainders.
Our feeling was that we had certainly seen much more beautifull lochs, but next to Loch Ness itself, it is definitely very interesting to also take some side-roads because the surrounding environment of the loch is very nice indeed, as you will see on the next pages.
