Experience

As a pre-sales engineer I have been involved in numerous large customer projects involving different fields of experise and teams spread over all continents. I have been involved in financial, technical and legal contract negotiations for multi-million dollar projects with large multinationals as lead technical consultant.

As a bid manager, I am very experienced in managing virtual teams involving multiple disciplines ranging from legal, to development, to finance, to project management and support. Managing tight deadlines is part of the game, so ensuring everyone is motivated to properly provide quality responses in a timely way, across multiple teams and countries is key to deliver a quality response.

I am highly experienced with managing multi-vendor platforms and solutions.

Next to the pre-sales role, I have also had roles as product manager, responsible for partner education, product evolution (feature definition, feature design) etc. …

During my career I was also working as a 3rd line engineer and solution architect in UC & Collaboration area. This role taught me the importance of processes, knowledge distribution, document creation and troubleshooting methods.

I am very experienced as well with Nagios monitoring systems and scripting to assist support organizations with delivery SLA’s to their customers.

I am very familiar with Service Delivery Management from both my pre-sales as well as my post-sales roles.

I also have several certifications in the exciting world of Big Data, notably several Splunk certifications (Splunk Certified Admin, Splunk Enterprise Security Certified Admin, Splunk IT Service Intelligence Certified Admin, …), and I have a lot of experience with both data admin, design, as well as advanced dashboard development and SIEM configuration/management.

In short, I bring technical savvy in various domains, combined with commercial and business knowledge.

My experience as a business owner in several companies taught me the importance of combining all of these aspects, and much more, to form a successful business and ensure customer satisfaction.
